But no one gives you that tender feeling anymore. There is never infinite warmth in their words. Whoever held you before is lost, names are stricken from your memory. Or feelings changed, 'effortlessly' walked out the door and you didn't give it a second thought. Feelings broke you, ....or you broke feelings, ....or maybe there really were never feelings at all. Now it hurts that you're not hurting, you're not feeling anything.
